Behavioral Health Supervisor

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

We are seeking a full-time counselor or social worker to serve children, youth, and adults, as well as manage these services for our Fayette and Highland County teams. Independent licensure as a counselor or social worker is preferred. Individuals who have had oversight of caseload development and supervision of behavioral health staff are ideal candidates.

Independent licensure as a Counselor (LPCC) or Social Worker (LISW) is required.

The annual salary range for this position is $66,174.73 to $79,175.95 based on experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of staff through various methods including but not limited to team meetings and regular communications.
  • Manages referrals and assigns caseloads and related duties to staff.
  • Represent the organization in the community and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Provides routine support and assistance to staff through individual and group conferences, assistance in analyzing case problems, and in improving their diagnostic and helping skills.
  • Review management reports and case records
  • Evaluate the performance of staff members and recommend appropriate action to the manager.
  • Participate in the review and selection of new staff, including but not limited to completion of position requisitions, applicant reviews, and interviews.
  • Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures, and/or processes.
  • Trains new employees in areas such as organizational policy, procedures, and organizational or governmental regulations.
  • May directly provide home and community behavioral health services that are practical, helpful, and collaborative.
  • Manages and organizes office operations and acts as the point of contact for internal and external business support functions.
  • May provide License supervision and oversight of Integrated Care Plans.
  • Oversee assigned programs/projects as designated by the manager.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of referred individuals and families.
  • Directly provides and coordinates clinical and social services that are problem-focused and build on family and community strengths.
  • Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
  • Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, and cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
  • Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or counseling required.
  • Must meet requirements for independent licensure as defined by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.
  • Prior supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness.
  • Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
  • Broad knowledge of community service systems.
  • Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities.
  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
