Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. Our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

ISBH Residential Program is a youth and family-centered residential program in southeast Ohio. Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Identified persons served are youth with behavioral health or co-occurring needs, including intellectual or developmental disabilities. Families, guardians, and community resources are included in all treatment whenever possible. All services are provided in a safe, trauma-informed, recovery-focused milieu designed to integrate the person served back into the community with their families and/or living independently whenever possible. All services are delivered by an interdisciplinary team and trained staff.

The Residential Program Supervisor is responsible for supervising direct care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for residents.

The salary range for this position is $58,237.88 to $68,387.85 per year based on licensure and experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Motivate, inspire, and lead the residential direct care team. Evaluate management on a continual basis to encourage growth and the fulfillment of established goals.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing support, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Supports the residential youth in implementing their individualized treatment plans, including behavioral guidelines, and with the Residential Clinical Team, to ensure the health, safety, and productivity of the people we support.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential program, ensuring a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment.
  • Monitor, and coordinate care and support based on individual needs of the residents. Monitor daily day treatment schedule and be available for day treatment when needed.
  • Effectively identify important issues and maintain timely communication with Residential Leadership and other team members to ensure that problems are solved.
  • Monitors the facility to ensure ongoing compliance with all agency practices, policies and procedures, licensing, accreditation, and governmental regulations.
  • Promote a positive, supportive, and therapeutic environment for residents.
  • Uses effective crisis management techniques to deal with and resolve emergent situations.
  • Responsible for following incident management protocols and providing follow-up reporting as needed.
  • Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, and cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
  • Facilitates team and program planning meetings.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between direct care staff and clinical/administrative teams.
  • Responsible for hiring qualified direct care staff and conducting thorough training of all direct reports.
  • Provides ongoing supervision, support, and evaluation of staff performance.
  • Creates and manages staff schedules and shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
  • Monitors staff timesheets and conducts corrections and approvals.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct Care Staff

Minimum Requirements:

  • QMHS 3+ years’ experience in the behavioral health field, is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth in a residential setting is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Trained in de-escalation and restraint best practices, preferred.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of cultural awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with families.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources.
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions.
  • Ability to use appropriate databases, spreadsheets, and other software.
  • Proficient in documentation and billing procedures for behavioral health services.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift children up to 40 pounds and manage physical resistance from children up to age 18.
  • Must be able to push, pull up, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Constantly must hear, see, speak, and be physically mobile.
  • Demonstrate ability to pass safety requirements as set by the department.
