Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

Groundwork Residences is a Level II Recovery Housing program owned and operated by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health and certified by Ohio Recovery Housing. Groundwork provides safe, stable housing for women in recovery from substance use and their children.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.26 per hour based on experience, education, and/or licensure.

Essential Functions: PEER CBHW

  • Provides support in the recovery home at key times to manage the group living dynamic.

  • Provides recovery support education via modeling and direct peer support.

  • Helps coordinate support-meeting attendance and case management.

  • Encourages and coordinates resident engagement in recovery activities, community activities and volunteer opportunities.

  • Assists residents with basic life skills development (planning, paying bills, making appointments, coordinating with CBHW, structuring time, etc.).

  • Assists with acquiring supportive pieces to overarching Community Behavioral Health goals as outlined in ICP (maintaining basic needs/benefits, coordinating children's care and appointments, searching for employment, managing important documents such as housing verifications, identifying documents, etc..).

  • Assists residents with building a support system and recovery plan by providing direct accountability, advocacy, and support.

  • Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
  • Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
  • Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions: In-Home Childcare Aide

  • Provides childcare support to residents living in Groundwork Recovery Housing.
  • Coordinates with residents and supervisor to build a childcare schedule weekly.
  • Completes Childcare-related documentation and forms as assigned.
  • Provides childcare support for appointments, groups, and employment.
  • Prioritizes childcare needs for residents and supplements schedule/hours with billable services for residents and children.
  • Maintains First-Aid and CPR certification

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years' experience in a Behavioral Health or Substance Use field preferred
  • Ohio Peer Recovery Support Certification preferred
  • Lived experience with Substance Use or Behavioral Health preferred
  • Demonstrated a high degree of cultural awareness.
  • Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
  • Broad knowledge of community service systems.
  • Willing to vary work hours significantly to create a flexible schedule to adjust seasonally according to resident/child needs.
  • Licensed and able to operate a motor vehicle with an appropriate level of insurance coverage.
  • Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities.
  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
