Help Me Grow Team Lead

We are seeking a Help Me Grow Team Lead!
Multiple Counties, Ohio

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

The salary for this position is $21.82 to $25.56 an hour based on relevant experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of staff through various methods, including but not limited to team meetings and regular communications

  • Manages referrals and assigns caseloads and related duties to staff

  • Represents the organization in the community and maintains relationships with community partners

  • Provides routine support and assistance to staff through individual and group conferences, assistance in analyzing case problems, and in improving their diagnostic and helping skills

  • Evaluates the performance of staff members and recommends appropriate action to the manager

  • Participate in the review and selection of new staff, including but not limited to completion of position requisitions, applicant reviews, and interviews

  • Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures, and/or processes

  • Trains new employees in areas such as organizational policy, procedures, and accreditation or governmental regulations

  • Conducts record reviews, assists in, or maintains the data collection system

  • Implements a quality assurance plan

  • Reviews and approves billing notes in OCHIDS

  • Liaison with other agencies and monitor contracts as well as ongoing program development

  • Conduct team meetings and planning groups, and provide daily support and crisis management

  • Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health

  • Carries a Help Me Grow Caseload, serving up to nine families

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families, or a Bachelor’s degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor's degree but with commensurate HFA experience.

  • A solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff with humility, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments

  • Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment

  • Experience with family services that embrace the concepts of family-centered and strength-based service provision

  • Knowledge of parent-infant health and the dynamics of child abuse and neglect

  • Experience in supporting culturally diverse communities/families

  • Experience in home visiting with a strong background in early childhood prevention services

  • Willingness to engage in building reflective practice (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing value of supervision, etc.)

  • Experience with reflective practice preferred

  • Three years’ experience as a Help Me Grow Family Support Specialist preferred

  • Certification as a Help Me Grow Supervisor through the State of Ohio/ or ability to reach the supervisor credential

  • Ability to establish trusting relationships

  • Acceptance of individual differences

  • Infant mental health endorsement preferred

  • Experience with multi-needing individuals and families

  • Broad knowledge of community service systems

  • Licensed and able to operate a motor vehicle with an appropriate level of insurance coverage

  • Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities

  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression

  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
