Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

The HR Associate will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource information systems team.

The pay range for this position is $44,512.00- $52,104.00 annually based on experience

Essential Functions:

  • Enters and maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource system entries, files, records, and documentation within our HR systems

  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relating to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR staff or management through our HR ticketing system

  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of electronic and paper human resource files and records

  • Assists with periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately

  • Assists in report creation for the HR department and other functions

  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines

  • Nurtures a strong service culture that ensures delivery of quick, repeatable, and quality-driven service to the organization

  • Ability to travel within ISBH’s service area

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Licensure:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred

  • SHRM-CP is preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience as an HR assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy are required

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are preferred

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications is required

  • Advanced skills in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools are required

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written is required

  • A valid driver's license is required

  • Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required

  • The ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required

  • The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection is required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are required
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times is required
